The Nomadic Furniture concept is a reflection of modern day lifestyles and the need for products to facilitate sustainable living.
For most, modern living means a lifestyle of renting and constantly moving. Nomadic Furniture is a modulated transformative eco design product which seeks to support those living this transient existence. Furniture for many generations act as a symbol of status with a singular use. This got us thinking if furniture could be more utilitarian and based around needs of the user and environment over status. Our solution is a set of bedroom furniture which can transform from furniture to boxes, back to furniture. Made from waste materials such as Tetra Pak, part-recycled CIFRA PVC film material, aluminium and recovered polymers.

The components are the tools to assemble the furniture and boxes. Nomadic Furniture has a unique twist-n-lock mechanism. This allows the user to assemble without the need of additional tools.
