As part of our hydrogel experiments we developed a unique process to add logos and patterns to bioplastic barrier films

Edible plastic could be used as part of the eating experience. The flavours could be complimentary to the purchase item and can be eaten together. If the consumer does not want to eat the wrapping, it can dissolve naturally, thus creating new food for the wider natural system.
